Changing Period Codes when Attendance Time is Used
Populate All-Day Code Automatically
Overview
The Mass Change Attendance Codes form will change a Period code based on criteria or update a student’s ALL Day code based on the number of absences. If the All-Day Attendance Management field is set to Attendance Time the page will exclude the Change All Day Code option.
To update attendance, select the code on which to base the change such as "A". Select the code to change to, such as "U", date range, number of absences in a day and grade level, if not all. A date range no longer than two weeks is recommended. A Detail Report and Summary Report are available for documentation.

Populate All-Day Code Automatically ↑
When the Populate All Day Code Automatically is enabled, the option to Change All Day Code will include students that have either a blank or an Unverified Absence code already populated in the All Day field (ATT.AL). This is usually the "A" code but can be different and is determined by the checkbox in the Absence Code table under Unverified Absences usually code "A" as shown below.
NOTE: Only students with blank or Unverified absence codes in the All Day Code field will be included when Change All Day Code function is processed. This only applies to schools where the Populate All Day Code automatically is enabled. When option is disabled, only students with blank All Day Codes are included.
