Issue:


A CTE Course is not reported in the CRSC file for EOY 1


Resolution:


1. Verify the two codes 23 and 24 from CRS.CL are translated in CALPADS Extracts > Code Translations > Course Instruction Level (CRS.CL)

 


2. A Section (HIS.SE) is required when School Taken (HIS.ST) is a school within the LEA on the transcript.

Create a section in the Master Schedule with populated attributes, including the High Quality CTE Crs (MST.HQC) field.

 

 

 

3.  In Transcripts, add 

  • Section School (HIS.SSC)
  • Section (HIS.SE) number
  • Dual Enrollment Credit School (HIS.SDE) = the home school
  • College Credit Hours (HIS.CH).

RESULTS: 


The CRSC extract pulled the course attributes associated with the newly created section, including the High Quality CTE (MST.HQC) Indicator. It also virtualized the section = 10001.
