For College Credit (CRS.CL = 23) and Dual Enrollment Courses (CRS.CL = 24) to be extracted for CALPADS End-of-Year reporting, certain fields must be correctly populated on the Transcript.


First, the Course must contain the Course Level (CRS.CL) of 23 or 24. These codes must also be translated to the CALPADS Codes in the CALPADS Extracts > Code Translations tab for the Course Instruction Level (CRS.CL) field.




In addition to the standard information entered on the transcript for any course taken, two additional fields will trigger the course to be extracted with a virtualized section in the CRSC and SCSC files.

  • Dual Enrollment Credit School (HIS.SDE) - must be set to the student's High School
  • College Credit Hours (HIS.CH) - a district-determined value



NOTE: These fields are important as they are trigger fields for the college course to extract properly for this code.
