Step 1: Load Students

    Option 1: Search by Student

  • Enter a list of Student ID Numbers (STU.ID), SSID Numbers (STU.CID), or Student Numbers (STU.SN) separated by commas, spaces, or line breaks
  • If desired, select a grade limit or choose to include inactive students 
  • Click on Load Students and the students will display in the Search Results area


    Option 2: Search by Counselor

  • Select students with a specific counselor by using the Counselor Search - click on the magnifying glass to search staff. Click on the counselor's name to select them
  • If desired, select a grade limit or choose to include inactive students 
  • Click on Load Students and the students will display in the Search Results area.  


    Option 3: Search by Class (MST/Flex schools)

  • Use the Search by Class option to select students with a specific teacher or in a specific section, period, course, subject area, department, or room
  • The Advanced Section Filter option is available 
  • If desired, select a grade limit or choose to include inactive students 
  • Click on Load Students and the students will display in the Search Results area


    Option 4: Use a KEEP or SKIP query

  • Run a KEEP or SKIP query before navigating to the Student Groups page
  • If desired, select a grade limit or choose to include inactive students
  • Click on Load Students and the students will display in the Search Results area


Step 2: Select Students

  • Select the students in the Search Results area to include in the group by clicking the checkbox next to their name
  • Click on the right facing arrow to add the selected students to the list


TIP: You can perform multiple searches for different sets of students in the same group; just make sure to load, select, and move the desired students into the "Selected Students" area before loading your next set of students. 



Step 3: Save 

  • Once the desired students are listed under the Selected Students section, click on the Save button to save the Student Group members
