Avery 5160 Labels - Labels Addressed to Parents, One Per Family are producing more than one label.  Why are some parents getting two labels?


Answer

This issue occurs because the parent's Contact Record has the Mail Tag enabled when the parent already shares the same address as the student.  


Solution

Run a Query to list all the Contact Records that have the Mail Tag enabled and verify if the addresses match. If they do, remove the Mail Tag on the Contact Record


This query includes all Contact Records that have a Mail Tag enabled, because the addresses aren't always consistently entered, (home address is the same but typed differently).
