Navigate to Scheduling Process > Scheduling Mass Change Sections.
The Scheduling Mass Change Sections (SSS) page can be used to mass change student scheduling sections. Multiple sections can be added, dropped or changed for students in the selected sections.

Mass Changing Sections in SSS ↑
To change an existing section to another section number, entered the requested section number on the left side of the form. Enter the new section number on the right side of the form. This page allows for overloading a section, if necessary, by placing a checkmark in the overload checkbox. Click the Preview Only button to see a listing of the students whose section(s) will be changed. To update the sections click the Update button.
Query can be used to limit the students whose sections need to be adjusted. The Query form can be opened by clicking the Open Query link at the bottom of the form.
In this example, students with course requests (SSS records) associated with section 998 are being changed so that the course request will be associated with section 1003 instead. Because the checkmark is in place to allow overloading, section 1003 will be overloaded if necessary. The change will affect students in all grades and all genders.
The Preview Only button will display a listing of students that will be affected by the change. Review the accuracy of the list, then click the Update button to make the changes.
Adding a Section ↑
To Add a section, enter the section number(s) to be added on the right side of the form and leave the left side of the form blank. Click the Preview Only button. A list of students will display. Verify the list of students. If correct, click the Update button.
Dropping a Section ↑
To Drop a section, enter the section number(s) to be dropped on the left side of the form and leave the right side of the form blank. Click the Preview Only button. A list of students will display. Verify the list of students. If correct, click the Update button.
