In “Alternative School Attendance and Grade Reporting”, we will delve into the intricacies of attendance and grade reporting in alternative education schools. Specifically designed for programs such as Continuation, Community Day, some Charter Schools, and COEs, this session will equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate state reporting requirements related to attendance and course data.
Session Content
In this session, participants will:
Identify the procedures for setting up alternative education schools within the Aeries platform
Recall the steps for configuring initial school settings, creating school terms, establishing calendars and bell schedules, and implementing block scheduling
Demonstrate the process of setting up attendance codes that align with state reporting requirements and accurately tracking student attendance in alternative education settings
Examine the process of initializing grade reporting windows, entering and maintaining student grades, and accessing relevant reports about student scheduling and continuation school attendance
Acquire a deeper understanding of the tools and strategies necessary for effective attendance and grade reporting in alternative education environments
