Overview ↑
Course Request Packets can be created for any set of courses commonly requested by students. Examples of potential Course Request Packets at a high school are 9th Grd Honors, 10th Grd Regular w/Geometry, or 11th Grd College Prep. If many students require the same set of courses, that set of courses is an appropriate choice to make into a Course Request Packet. Once a packet is created, it can be added to a student from the Course Requests / Schedule page (Course Request Packet button), the Classes page in Edit mode (CrsReqPack button), or to many students at once from Mass Change or Add Crs Requests (CrsReqPackets button). Packets are set up for each school, so log in to a school (not the district office) to use this page.
To group specific sections instead of courses, see Creating and Modifying Course Request Section Packets.

Click the Save button when finished. The new Course Request Packet will be listed and selected. It has no courses yet. To add courses, see Add Courses to a Course Request Packet below.
A message displays if the Packet Code is blank ("Please enter a Packet Code to continue!"), already used at the school ("Packet already exists!") or longer than 6 characters ("Invalid Packet Code!").
