If a student is added to or dropped from a class on the Classes page, teachers who use the Aeries Gradebook to enter assignments and grades may need to update their gradebooks. Teachers will need to add or drop the students in their gradebooks, unless the gradebook is set to do this automatically (see below).

On the Gradebook page, a red Add/Drop Students button displays only when students need to be added to or dropped from one of the teacher's gradebooks. See Gradebook - Add Students for more information.

Each gradebook also has the option Add/Drop Students Automatically when loading Scores By Class page. When it is on, students are added and dropped automatically when the teacher opens Scores By Class. The district may lock this option.
