What status tag do students receive when rolled into the inactive school during New Year Rollover?
During rollover, students moved into the inactive school are tagged with the value configured as the Inactive Status Tag on the New Year Rollover Settings.
- The dedicated tag identifies students placed in the inactive school during rollover — those who were active but did not roll forward to an active enrollment elsewhere (for example, graduates, students completing the highest grade, or students with no valid next school). It distinguishes them from students who rolled into an active school.
- The tag is written once during rollover and is the final value — Aeries does not change it afterward.
- To change the tag applied to rolled-inactive students, update the Inactive Status Tag on the New Year Rollover Settings before running rollover.
