Question: Why doesn’t the Birth State Code added to the Code Table appear in the drop-down?

Answer: The Birth State (STU.BST) field codes are hard-coded based on valid CALPADS Codes for reporting. Refer to the CALPADS Code Set for State/Province. CALPADS only permits Birth States from the US, Canada, and Mexico to be submitted. Unfortunately, there is no option to add additional codes to this field's drop-down.
