Overview
At the School level, navigate to Scheduling Process > Master Schedule
Monthly Minutes can be automatically calculated using the Calculate Monthly Minutes button.
FALL PEIMS: Element E1057 MONTHLY-MINUTES is the total number of minutes in a month devoted to a particular service. A month is generally considered to be the four weeks prior to the as-of-date (snapshot date). The snapshot date is the last Friday in October.

This is a campus option and will only calculate sections on the selected campus.
The process uses the Snapshot Date from Texas State Reporting to calculate minutes for each section for the four weeks leading up to the snapshot date. The snapshot date should be set to the last Friday in October before running this process. Minutes are calculated based on the number of days in the date range by looking at the school Calendar and the Bell Schedule for that campus, including any special bell schedules on days in the month that the user indicated.
Calculations take into account block periods, meeting days (SplitTerm), length of class period (based on Bell Schedule) and number of days in the date range. If the date range does not occur in the semester that the section meets, that section will be skipped.
For Flex Scheduling schools, this process uses the class calendar and Flex Period Time information (including custom bell schedule times) to calculate the monthly minutes for sections.
Options ↑
Clicking the Calculate Monthly Minutes button bring up a sub-menu with several options:
1. Under Section to Calculate, select an option.
• This section only - Select this option to calculate minutes for the selected section.
• Sections with 0 monthly minutes - Select this option to only calculate sections that have 0 monthly minutes.
• All sections - Select this options to calculate all sections.
2. Under Snap-Shot Date, select the last Friday in October.
3. Click OK.
4. If either Sections with 0 monthly minutes or All sections was selected,
an email will be sent when the process is completed.
