The School of Choice Notification Email Configuration form allows customized emails to be added for the School of Choice system. For district system administrators, the School of Choice Notification Email Configuration form can be accessed from the Portal Management node under School Info on the Navigation Tree. Then click the mouse on School of Choice Notification Email Configuration and the form below will display.
Emails need to be configured for approvals and rejections. There are an unlimited number of emails that can be defined. Mail merge is possible for all STU, 1:1 Student Related, and SCR – School of Choice Requests and SCD – School of Choice Decisions fields. Users will be able to manually select the appropriate email to send to the parent on the School of Choice Management form.
Click on the Create New Email button to begin. The following page will display:
Enter the email name and click on OK to continue. The following page will display. Enter the subject and body of the email. Mail merge and advanced text editing capabilities are available for the various emails, as well as multiple language versions of each letter.
