Aeries Query lists you can use to review stored College/Career Indicator (CCI) results for your students. See CCI Student Summary and CCI Student Summary - Measures.


Before you start

  • Go to Aeries Query, type or paste one line into the query box, and press Enter. The results open in a new window.
  • Aeries stores a student’s CCI results when the student’s CCI Student Summary page is loaded or when Mass Update Student CCI Data is run. Run Mass Update Student CCI Data first so these lists show current results.
  • The lists use the school you are currently signed in to. Change STU.GR = 12 to another grade to review other students.
  • The columns in the results appear in the same order as the fields in the query.

Shows the overall College/Career status and the graduation status for each senior.

Seniors Who Are Not Prepared

During the school year, a senior shows Not Prepared only when high school graduation is Not On Track and a college or career indicator is Prepared. In the summer after senior year, a student who does not reach Prepared or Approaching Prepared shows Not Prepared.

Shows seniors whose overall status is Needs Attention (RISK). During the school year, this is the status of many seniors who have not reached Prepared.

  • ST: overall College/Career status
  • GRS: graduation status
  • MES: UC/CSU
  • MBS: Smarter Balanced (SBAC)
  • MDS: AP Exam
  • MHS: IB Exam
  • MCS: College Credit
  • MFS: State Seal of Biliteracy
  • MAS: CTE Pathway
  • MGS: Leadership/Military Science
  • MIS: Registered Pre-Apprenticeship
  • MJS: State and Federal Job Programs
  • MKS: Work Based Learning Exp
  • The other fields in each list are the individual rule statuses and the note Aeries shows for that measure.

What the Status Values Mean

  • COMP: Complete
  • PTCOMP: Partially Complete
  • PROGR: In Progress
  • RISK: Needs Attention
  • INCOMP: Incomplete
  • NA: Not Available
  • PREP: Prepared
  • APPR: Approaching Prepared. Used only in the summer after senior year. See When APPR Appears below.
  • NOPREP: Not Prepared
  • TOPREP: In Progress To Prepared

When APPR Appears

APPR is not used during the school year. It cannot be produced earlier by changing a student’s graduation code. Aeries stores APPR as a student’s overall status only when all of these are true:

  • The school’s last term has ended, and the school has a full-year term set up. If the school has no full-year term, APPR is never used.
  • The student is in grade 12 and the Comp Status - Code field on Demographics is 100 (Graduated). Other graduation codes do not give APPR.
  • The student’s high school graduation status is Complete.
  • Neither the college nor the career indicator is Prepared, and at least one measure is Partially Complete.

Students who meet the first three conditions but are not Approaching show PREP if a measure is Complete, or NOPREP if not.

If You Do Not See APPR

  • Check the date. Before the school’s last term ends, a student who has not reached Prepared shows RISK, TOPREP or NOPREP, not APPR.
  • Check the student’s grade, Comp Status - Code and graduation status against the list above.
  • Check the measures. If no measure is Partially Complete, the student shows NOPREP. If a measure is Complete, the student shows PREP.
  • Load the student’s CCI Student Summary page or run Mass Update Student CCI Data. The lists show stored results, so they stay the same until the student is recalculated.
