When the school year is finished, how do we 'finalize' JumpRope gradebooks?
- JumpRope doesn't require a formalized grade finalization process. Instead, if you want to limit the access your teachers have to their gradebooks, you can adjust settings accordingly. See: How do I 'close' Grade books for the end of year or term or 'open' them for past terms?
Our school will be using JumpRope for summer school classes that meet beyond or after the June 30th date. What do we do?
- Using JumpRope for summer school grade books is great! Just let us know that you'll be using JumpRope past the June 30th date; you'll have a 60 day grace period until the new school year period begins.
- If you need more specific information regarding how to set up your courses and schedules for summer school, please reach out to support@jumpro.pe
What happens to our data?
- As long as you are a JumpRope customer, your data is accessible through your Administrative JumpRope accounts; past years' data included.
- JumpRope subscriptions end on June 30th of each year. If you do not intend to continue using JumpRope after the conclusion of your subscription year please let us know at support@jumpro.pe. We can work with you to provide a grace period beyond that date, within which you can have extended time to access and export your data before it is deleted.
We synchronize our schedule and enrollment data from our SIS automatically with JumpRope. What do we need to do to manage the end of the school year?
- Many SIS systems end date their enrollments. JumpRope's integration process recognizes these end dates and pauses automatic synchronization. For other systems, JumpRope pauses the synchronizations in July. There's no specific action that you need to take.
- Anytime after July 1(most schools do this in late August), when you're ready to begin planning and setup for the coming school year,__ Setup the New Year __
- **(if you are using JumpRope for summer school, do not create a 'new year'; contact support@jumpro.pe for more detail.)
We're not sure yet how many students (i.e. 'student count') we'll have enrolled for the coming school year. How should we fill out the renewal form (form sent in June and then re-sent in July)?
- Reply to our renewal email messages that you intend to come back but are unsure of enrollment numbers yet. As soon as you do have a better idea, let us know at support@jumpro.pe. JumpRope uses your 'student count' to invoice for your yearly subscription.
Will my invoice look different this year?
Yes, as of fall 2025, JumpRope has become a part of the Aeries Software platform. Your invoice will come from Aeries Software and will have a new remittance address. Please reach out to staceym@aeries.com or ar@aeries.com with any questions regarding payment.
What's different now that JumpRope is partnered with Aeries?
JumpRope joined Aeries Software in fall 2025. The biggest change you're likely to notice are billing statements and invoices. JumpRope gradebook remains the same.
For the following questions and others, please contact support@jumpro.pe directly:
- We are going to be using a new/different SIS (Student Information System) for the coming school year. What do we need to do to ensure a smooth transition of data in JumpRope?
- We'll be adding another school (or removing a school) from our existing district-wide implementation. What do we need to do to move these changes forward in JumpRope?
- We'd like to consult with JumpRope specialists on our existing settings and discuss what options we might have. These settings might include scoring scales, mastery bar colors, customized language, standard bank changes, etc.
