When opening the Grades page in the Aeries Mobile Portal app, this message displays: Your school has not yet enabled access to this information.

Environment

• Any school (secondary or elementary)

Cause

The Portal Group does not have READ permission to the GBS (Student Gradebook Scores) table. The Grades icon still appears on the bottom bar, but it shows this message instead of the student's classes. If the message is No courses for the selected term instead, the permission is fine; the student has no classes in that term.

Resolution

Grant READ permission to the GBS table for all Portal Groups and schools that should access the Grades screen. Permissions are checked for each student's school, so a parent with students at two schools may see Grades for one and not the other. Students flagged as restricted use the restricted Portal Group, so check that group too. Refer to Mobile App Security - Grades for detailed steps.

NOTE: Cache changes may take up to 30 minutes to take effect. Log out and back in to the app to verify permissions have been applied.
