How to Use Field-Level Table Permissions

In some situations a Security Group or Portal Group (not individual user accounts) may need access to only specific fields within Student Data, rather than all-or-nothing access to the table.
This would be an appropriate time to use Field-Level Permissions. The tables with these types of permissions are: STU, CON, STF, SCD, and SCR.
