This article details how to attach Standards to a Gradebook Assignments?

When Adding a New Assignment, the Add Assignment window has an Add Standards option

Click on Add Standard and a Standard Selector will display. 

The Standard Selector has a dropdown to select types of Standards. The two most common selections are Report Card Standards and Common Core.

The Report Card Standards option should be used if the Gradebook is associated with a Course. The Standards displayed under this option will be from the Standards Based Course (SBR) table. 

If the Gradebook is not associated with a Course the standards displayed will be from the Standards Based Setup (SBE) table. 

The Common Core option will display all Common Core standards the District has setup for the school.

Clicking on an Add button next to a Standard will add the Standard to the assignment.
