Issue

In Flex Scheduling, when trying to create a new Section, a message opens, stating "You must put in a valid value for the PD field." However, in Flex Scheduling, there is no field for PD on a Section as this information is now pulled from the Flex Period (FTF) table.

Cause

On the Define Required Fields page, the Period field has been marked as Required. The Define Required Fields page is District-wide, not School-based.  




Resolution

Deselect Period as a required field. If the District has any school set to Flex Scheduling, the Period field cannot be marked as Required.
