Use this process when the Report Card History process was skipped, and needs to be run for a past Term, for one student.  RCH records will overwrite previous records if reprocessed with the exact same settings  (term, year, title). If any of this data is different, it will create a new record and the original (bad) record will have to be deleted via SQL.  


NOTE: Do not run this process during an active Grading window. Wait until the window has closed.



Step 1: Initialize SBG Grading Cycle for the missing Term

  • Go to the Standards Based Grades>Functions>Initialize New Grading Cycle
  • Change the Term to the one that is missing from Report Card History
  • Click Initialize New Standards Based Grading Cycle



Step 2: Update SBG Attendance Totals for the missing Term

  • Go to the Standards Based Grades>Functions>Update SBG Attendance Totals
  • Change the Term to the one that is missing from Report Card History
  • Select the Update SBG Attendance Totals



Step 3: Run the SBG Report Cards for the missing Term

  • Go to Standards Based Grades>Reports>Standards Based Report Cards



  • Run SBG Report Cards
    • Choose the appropriate Mark in the Marks to Print option
    • Change the radio button to By Student
    • In the Filter box, type the name or ID of the student
    • Click on Run Report - while it is not necessary to actually print the Report Card, the run process needs to complete the PDF before moving to the next step. Additionally, it is a good practice to review the PDF to ensure the data looks correct, before generating the Report Card History.


  • After the PDF of the SBG Report Card has been created, immediately click Generate Report Card History
