What to do prior to running the Combine Student Records when only one record exists in the current school year's database and the other record is in a prior year's database.
Step 1: The prior school year record must be added to the current school year's database
Step 2: Log in to the Inactive School
Step 3: Go to any student's Demographic record
Step 4: Click on the Add button at the bottom of the page
Step 5: Click on Search Prior Year
Step 6: Search for the Student
- Search options include Last Name and/or First Name, Student ID, State ID, School and Student Number, Birthdate, or any combination of the options
Step 7: Click to highlight the appropriate student name
Step 8: Click on the Copy Icon
Step 9: Once the student is saved in the Inactive School
- Go to the School the student is currently enrolled in and run the Combine Student Records process
