What are the “Must Haves” in order for our customers to consider Student Search to be vastly improved in Next Gen?

  • Single Student Search that will display all Students within the District
  • Simple Search that will also allow users to select a more robust Search & Filter options
  • More customizable which empowers the user to select what information is most important to them.
  • When selecting a student record from any page within the system the user should be directed back to the Student Information page

    • User can select what fields they would like to search for and display
    • User can create their own “Default”
    • User can save/share those views
    • Unlimited amount of columns

    • Filter Options within the Columns
    • Ability to choose how 1 to Many Tables/Fields will display in Search Results
    • Ability to send results to a CSV
  • Searching and selecting a student from a non-student related page will direct the user to the “Demographics” page of the student selected

Relevancy will be the “Keyword” that drives the Student Search feature in Aeries NextGen. Allowing users to choose between a simple search or a more customizable Grid will ensure that the user will get the most relevant information in their search results. It has the benefits of reducing the need for Query and improve the user’s overall experience.
