Session Description

The “District Assets” session is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the configuration and utilization of the District Assets Module. This session enables districts to effectively manage and monitor the inventory of electronic devices (such as tablets, iPads, and laptops) and traditional resources like textbooks and instructional materials.  

Session Objectives

In this session, participants will: 

  • Describe the process of adding assets and updating asset item details in the District Assets Module 

  • Discuss the steps involved in generating barcodes and checking assets in and out for students and staff 

  • Summarize the method for viewing assets assigned to individuals and assigning fees for lost or damaged assets 

  • Explain the skills required to generate reports and fee letters related to district asset 

  • Recognize the tools necessary to efficiently track inventory and streamline check-out and check-in processes
