Session Description

In “Alternative School Scheduling”, participants will learn how to effectively use the Aeries Alternative Education scheduling feature to create a modified Alternative Education Master schedule. This schedule allows for individualized student scheduling, making it suitable for Continuation, Community Day, COE, or Independent Study programs.  


Session Content

In this session, participants will: 

  • Identify and explain the benefits and differences between building an Alternative Education master schedule and a traditional one 

  • Describe the process of creating sections specifically tailored for alternative education in the Aeries Alternative Education scheduling feature 

  • Utilize the alternative education scheduling option in Aeries to effectively schedule students in alternative education programs 

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage alternative education student schedules using the Aeries Alternative Education scheduling feature 

  • Analyze and discuss the impact of Alternative Education scheduling on the Grade Reporting Cycle 

  • Retrieve and interpret reports related to student scheduling using the Aeries Alternative Education scheduling feature
