Student_Sync.pdf provides information on Student Synchronization: changes to Student data (STU), Supplemental (SUP), and Secondary Student Data (SSD) will be automatically synchronized between active records. Various settings are available in Define Fields to Sync/Lock in AdminCS and through LOC rules set in the Schools form in the District database. This feature can be used to better manage student fields of pre-enrolled records, since any change to student records would apply these rules, allowing certain fields to not allow the user to edit.
