This error occurs because there is a non-alpha character in a field, typically a name or parent/guardian field.

 

Resolution: 

The field must only contain alphabetic letters, numbers, periods, hyphens and apostrophes.  Remove non-alpha characters from the field and re-extract the file for submission.
