All accounts have access automatically to the JumpRope module app which includes their Grade book and Plan features. Depending on school settings, this automatic access can include full student report access (i.e. a teacher can look up any student in the school and see their mastery grade report for all classes).

User/Staff account permissions are closely related to module/app access. An administrative account has access to manage the permissions for the accounts at their school and/or district. Account permissions are as follows.

Reporting

Access to Admin app Reporting and Administer sub-sections. This includes access to create PDF progress reports in bulk for the school and/or district, as well as access to larger data-based reports. They have access to the Admin module/app with all items greyed out except for the Reporting section. A common use for this permission is to allow office staff access to generate progress reports in bulk. Teachers do not necessarily need this permission, their basic gradebook accounts already have access to create reports for their own classes and for individual students.

Standards

This permission is not necessary unless your school utilizes the fully managed and curated bank of standards. If you are unsure, please reach out to support@jumpro.pe.

Access to Standards menu item in Admin app. This allows the user to add, create, and edit standards banks. They have access to the Admin module/app with all items greyed out except Standards. A common use for this permission is to allow a teacher leader access to manage the bank without allowing them all administrative features.

Admin

Access to all items on the Admin app page. This permission automatically includes both Reporting and Standards permissions. This permission gives the user full access to all Grade books in the school will access to edit and enter scores for all classes.

Setup

Access to all items on the Setup app page. A user must have this permission on their account in order to give the permission to other accounts. This permission gives the user access to change and manage Grade book settings for the entire school (i.e. score weight rules, scoring scale rules, etc.).
