Symptoms
Staff and teachers cannot log into Aeries and receive an error message about data conversion failure. Some users may regain access by clicking Back to Home and retrying, but this is not reliable across all users.
Cause
The ParentSquare integration setting Limit to Schools was enabled but left with no schools selected. This configuration mismatch prevents the system from initializing properly at login.
Resolution
1. Adjust the Limit to Schools Setting
Navigate to 3rd Party System Connections → Under Enable Aeries Communications System via ParentSquare → Either turn off the Limit to Schools option, or select at least one school from the list.
2. Save Changes
Save the configuration and allow staff to attempt to login again.
