How is the graduation year calculated for Google student email accounts?
The [graduation-year] value used in the Student User Name Pattern is calculated from the student's Grade (STU.GR) field and the current school year: current school year + 1 + (12 − grade). For example, a grade 10 student in the 2024–25 school year would receive a graduation year of 2027. Students with a grade above 12 are assigned a graduation year of Unknown.
