What is the best practice to exit students that are not returning - after the New Year Rollover?

  • The End of Year > Status field (exit reason) should be added in the prior year database for the student. 
    • A new SENR file must be sent to CALPADS to update the exit code. If using this option, the student record can be deleted from the current year database
  • If the option above is not used, the student should be No Showed in the current year database. This process will add the Summer Withdrawal > Reason and Leave Date to the student's Student Data 2 page. 
    • When the Fall CALPADS SENR file is submitted the exit reason will be updated.
