What is the Difference between Correspondence Language and Reporting Language?

The Correspondence Language is the language in which a parent wants to receive correspondence. This field would be used when translations are created for letters that go out to parents.  The Reporting Language is the language that is used for CALPADS Reporting. If the student has something other than English on their Home Language Survey, the Reporting Language would reflect that language and if they only have English on the Home Language Survey, the Reporting Language would be English.
