Data Fields and Report Example for CA
Overview
Navigate to Reports > Student Data > Home Language Survey.
A report is available for printing the Home Language Survey questions that are reported in Online Enrollment. The report is available in all states and can be printed from the Reports page or View All Reports. The report can be printed from District or school.

Report Options ↑
The report contains Report Options that can be applied when printing the Home Language Survey Report. The options will vary depending on whether the report is being generated from the District or the individual school site.
Printing from District:
When the report is printed from the District, a KEEP/SKIP query statement is required. The Run Report button will be disabled if the query statement has not been applied.
A query example could be finding students that are tagged with a source of OE in the Language Assessment page. This is auto-populated when records are imported from OE.

The Report Options will include the following:
- Include students with digitally signed surveys.
- Include students without digitally signed surveys.
- Language to Print: Report can be printed in English or Spanish languages and is NOT defined by code values stored STU.HL or STU.CL.
Printing from School:
Select the appropriate options when printing the report for students in the logged in school. A query can be used to limit the students.
A query example could be finding students that are tagged with a source of OE in the Language Assessment page. This is auto-populated when records are imported from OE.

The Report Options will include:
- Include students with digitally signed surveys.
- Include students without digitally signed surveys.
- Language to Print: Report can be printed in English or Spanish languages and is NOT defined by code values stored STU.HL or STU.CL.
- Student Selector: Select 1 or many students. When no student is selected, the report will generate for all students and will print based on the options selected
- Show all Students: Include Inactive Students

The report printed in Spanish will display Spanish Version in the upper right corner.
