Any time a Gradebook is deleted, Aeries makes an automatic backup that can be restored. The teacher may restore the Gradebook, or a User with permission to emulate teacher Gradebooks may restore the Gradebook for the teacher. 

  

  

1. Navigate to the Edit Gradebook screen from the Manage tab for any Gradebook that belongs to the teacher



2. Click the Restore Tab

  • The following page will display and will list all the teacher’s gradebooks
  • The deleted gradebooks will NOT be on this page

 

3. Leave the Load into a New Gradebook option selected and click on the Next button



4. Select the Teacher and Gradebook to restore, select the Gradebook with the Comment Autobackup-Delete, Click Next

 

  

5. Add a Gradebook Description Name for the Restored Gradebook

  • If this field is left blank, the Restored Gradebook will use the name of the selected Gradebook backup and add "- RESTORE" to the end of the name
 


6. Select all applicable Tables to restore and click the Restore Gradebook button.  

 

 

 7. A message will display once the new Gradebook is restored, click OK. 

  • After clicking OK, you will be taken to the Gradebook list, and the restored Gradebook will be available
