Level 1 Errors - Staff

Most TEA Ed-Fi codes are hard-coded in Aeries and do not need to be mapped.

* An asterisk in the Label & Aeries Table.Field column indicates a code set where local codes can be used. Any local codes used by the district must be mapped to TEA Ed-Fi codes on School Info > Imports and Exports > Ed-Fi Code Mappings.

Entity: Staff

This entity is NOT included in the TEA pre-defined SIS Vendor claim set.  You must use the SIS Vendor with Staff Profiles claim set to sync the elements from Aeries.  See TEA API Profiles Resource Guide.pdf

NOTE:  If you sync the Staff entity from Aeries, the Staff MUST exists in your IODS from you HR/Finance system before these elements will sync.

Entity: StaffEducationOrganizationAssignmentAssociation ↑

This entity is NOT included in the TEA pre-defined claims sets: SIS Vendor or SIS Vendor with Staff Profiles.  To sync this entity from Aeries you will need to create a custom claim set.  See Texas State Reporting Ed-Fi.

Note: If you sync this entity from both Aeries and your HR/Finance system, the data must be exactly the same for each Staff referencing the same Education Organization and Staff Unique ID as the last sync will overwrite the data.

This entity must sync from HR/Finance Vendor.

Entity: StaffSchoolAssociation ↑

Only staff with a TIA designation are included.

This entity is NOT included in the TEA pre-defined claims sets: SIS Vendor or SIS Vendor with Staff Profiles. To sync this entity from Aeries you will need to create a custom claim set. See Texas State Reporting Ed-Fi.

Note: If you sync this entity from both Aeries and your HR/Finance system, the data must be exactly the same for each Staff referencing the same EducationOrganization and Staff Unique ID as the last sync will overwrite the data.
