District Options






Enable Religious Form: Enabling this option will enable the Religious Information page for all schools. Please refer to the Religious Information documentation for more information. 

Require Address History Update to Change Student Address:

Maximum Student Photo Size: 100 KB: The default maximum picture size is 100 KB. This option allows a district to specify a size other than 100 KB for Student Photos. For performance reasons Aeries does not recommend choosing a size larger than 100 KB. 

Maximum Staff Photo Size: 100 KB: The default maximum picture size is 100 KB. This option allows a district to specify a size other than 100 KB for Staff Photos. For performance reasons Aeries does not recommend choosing a size larger than 100 KB.

Aeries Payments - Treat Student as an Adult: ***

Enable Campaign URL on Parent Homepage/Student Homepage: Enabling this option will cause a link to the student's Destiny Fundraising Manager payment portal to display on the Portal homepage for parents, students, or both.

Enable Billing Gate URL on Parent Homepage/Student Homepage: Enabling this option will cause a link to the student's Destiny Fundraising Manager Payment Gateway to display on the Portal homepage for parents, students, or both.

Exclude Employers Without Contact Type from Employer Search on Internship Pages: ****

Hide Grade Reporting GPAs: Enabling this option will hide Grade Reporting GPAs. Credits and Class Rank for Teachers, parents/Students, Users, and Admin on the Student Grades page and Report. 

Do Not Re-compute GPAs Automatically: Enabling this option will prevent Built-in GPAs from recomputing automatically in Aeries. This option is not currently available for custom District GPAs and the GPA will never automatically recompute.


A value of Yes indicates that this option is enabled and built-in GPAs will NOT automatically recompute.
A value of No indicates that built-in GPAs will automatically recompute.

The areas affected are:

  • Analytics - FieldValueRange type will not recompute GPA if the option is enabled. This includes STU fields CA, CC, TP, GP, CP, TPN, GPN, CPN, TPA, GPA, CPA, PTS, OCR, CR, CS. 
  • Transcript - GPA will not re-compute automatically when adding or editing HIS records or mass adding HIS records on the Transcripts page, printing the Student Transcript from the Transcripts page.  Note: Clicking the "Recompute  GPA" button on the Transcripts page will recompute GPA as normal. 
  • Reports - The GPA Summary Listing by Term, Student Transcripts will not recompute student GPAs when the option is enabled.

  • Areas not affected: 
    • Transcript page - Clicking the Recompute  GPA button on the Transcripts page will recompute GPA as normal. 
    • Recompute Cumulative GPAs and Class Rank - GPAs will recompute as normal.

NOTE: The Do Not Re-compute GPAs Automatically option does not apply to custom District GPAs and District GPAs are never automatically recalculated.  To recompute custom District GPAs, continue using one of the following supported methods:

  • Recompute GPA for an individual student from the student’s Transcript page, or 

  • Run the Recompute Cumulative GPAs and Class Rank process for a broader update.
