A student can be suspended for up to five days or the number of remaining school days, whichever comes first.  All the SINC,SIRS, and SOFF information is limited to when an incident occurred during the current academic school year.  If you have further questions, please contact CALPADS.

The duration of the disciplinary action should include anytime the student missed school due to a suspension that preceded the expulsion, and the number of instructional days the student missed due to the expulsion, which would be the number of instructional days from when the student is exited due to the expulsion to when the student is enrolled in a subsequent school, or the end of the school year, whichever comes first.
