Session Description

In the SQL Query Basics course, participants will learn the fundamentals of creating and using SQL queries. This course covers essential topics such as SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, and DELETE queries, as well as the GROUP BY clause, ORDER BY clause, and dual-table queries.   

Session Content

In this session, participants will: 

• Describe the purpose and usage of special SQL commands 

• Explain the concept of SQL Joins and demonstrate their application in linking data from different tables 

• Summarize the structure of SQL query statements and identify key components within the statements 

• Demonstrate the ability to construct and execute SQL queries to manipulate and retrieve specific data 

• Recognize and utilize essential tools for building a strong foundation in SQL query basics
