The Demographics screen offers a view displaying the student's demographic information, so you can ensure it's correct.

Main screen

Tap More, then Demographics. You'll be able to view the currently-selected student's basic profile information and some demographic information.

The screen shows the student's information from Aeries. Your school controls which fields parents and students can see; hidden fields are blank. Tap the phone number to call, the email address to send an email, or an address to open it in Maps.

Demographic information

On the Demographics screen, the following data will display:

Profile:

  • Name - the full name of the student
  • Phone - the student's primary phone number
  • School - the name of the school the student attends
  • Permanent ID - the permanent ID of the student
  • Grade - the student's grade level (for example, 4 or 12)
  • Birthdate - the student's date of birth and age
  • Counselor (secondary schools) or Teacher (elementary schools) - the name of the student's counselor or homeroom teacher, and their email address. This shows N/A if your school hides this field.

The phone number and addresses are blank if your school hides student contact information. (Labels are slightly shorter on iPhone, for example "Phone" and "School".)

Locker (secondary schools only; if no locker is assigned, these fields are blank):

  • Number - Locker number assigned to student
  • Combination - hidden as asterisks. Tap it (the eye icon) to show or hide the combination.
  • Location - where the locker is (for example, Male Locker Room)
  • Position - the locker position (for example, Full Locker)

Demographics:

  • Residence Address - the residence address of the student
  • Mailing Address - the mailing address of the student

Editing demographic data note: The app only displays this information. To update it, tap More > Full Portal (or log in to the Aeries Parent/Student Portal in a web browser), if your school allows parents to change data there.
