Aeries is a web-based application that can be accessed from an internet browser using credentials (username and password) provided by a district Aeries administrator.


The level of access, as well as the schools, school years, and pages you can access, depend on the permissions associated with your user account. You may have read-only, update, or full administrator access to certain pages and fields.

Depending on the district configuration, additional login features may be in use: 



Prerequisites

  • Obtain the district Aeries website URL and login credentials (Username and Password) from the school or district.


Steps


  Log in




  1. Enter the required information:

    UsernameYour unique username provided by an Aeries admin
    PasswordThe password for your user account, provided by an Aeries admin

    The password is masked by default. Click the Show icon to view the password.
    DatabaseIf you have multiple databases, such as a test database and a live database, select the database.
    YearThe current school year, or a prior school year depending on your access level

    When you are logged in to a prior school year, the School Year icon is red in the Aeries header, which is displayed at the top of on all Aeries pages.
    You can also change the school year from within Aeries.

    The version is useful when determining if you have the latest version of Aeries, which helps determine if you have access to certain features, enhancements, and fixes. 

    When contacting Aeries Support, you may be asked for the version number to help troubleshoot an issue. 

    A version number contains four sections separated by periods:

    NN.NN.NN.NN

    1st section: Major version, which changes infrequently
    2nd section: Minor version, which changes with every release
    3rd and 4th sections: The month and date of the release

    Click the link to open a pop-up window which provides information about the image. Click Close to close the window. 

  2. Click Log In.

  3. If credentials were entered correctly, a second Login page opens. Enter additional required information:


    Username
    Database
    Year
    The information entered on the prior page (read only)
    School
    Select the school you wish to log into.


  4. If you need to return to the first Login page to re-enter information, click Cancel.

  5. Otherwise, click Continue.

    The Aeries Home page opens to the school, school year, and database selected during login. See Aeries Home.
