User does not have access to Add/Update/Delete on various Pages, even though their Permissions show they should

Environment

User type Records: User 

• This does not apply to Teacher or Admin Accounts

Cause

The User's School Access Permissions are set to Read Only. That Read Only option will override any Insert, Update, Delete, or Mass Update permissions given to the user via a Group or individual Permissions.

Resolution

Remove the checkmark in the Read Only box for the schools where the user needs Add/Update/Delete permissions.
