Session Description
In “Querying a REST API Post API”, participants will gain a general understanding of API's and learn the differences between GET, PUT, POST, and DELETE requests. Using PowerShell, participants will learn how to make raw API requests and install the AeriesApi PowerShell module.
Session Content
In this session, participants will:
Describe the process of making requests using the AeriesApi module
Explain how the review data process works in querying a REST API using PowerShell
Use PowerShell and a GUI to select specific records, modify and export data for later use
Summarize the skills required to effectively query a REST API using PowerShell and the AeriesApi module
Recognize the necessary tools to expand knowledge of API querying and PowerShell scripting
