Session Description

In "Advanced Interfacing with Data", participants learn how to create their own dashboard using Aeries Queries and MS Excel. This session is designed for any user interested in extracting information from data.   

Session Content

In this session, participants will:  

• Acquire an understanding of using the Get Data feature in MS Excel to automate loading data from Aeries Query, joining multiple data queries, and formatting the data using the Excel Power Query Editor 

• Understand the steps involved in analyzing data using Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, drilling down to see individual student data, and filtering data using Slicers 

• Explore the steps to easily refresh the data in just three simple steps 

• Acquire skills to create a comprehensive dashboard that can be shared with staff 

• Explore the power of data analysis with Excel and Aeries Queries
