Texas Specific

  • Special Programs - The CTE Ineligible Funding (414) option was added to the Program Code drop-down list to identify students who are ineligible for CTE funding due to placement in a disciplinary setting. Program enrollment should cease the day before the student begins attendance in the discipline setting and resume the day after the student's last day in that setting. The option is used in calculations when the student was enrolled in this program for six or more consecutive school days.   • Mass Run Attendance Reports - CTE eligibility days and contact hours calculations now account for students enrolled in the CTE Ineligible Funding (414) program. See StudentAttendance Interchange - Field Mapping and Rules and Texas - Student Attendance Details Report (Side-by-Side)

  • Mass Run Attendance Reports (Texas) - The Student Attendance Detail Reports for CTE students who were Homebound for an entire reporting period did not report 0 for CTE Program Entry and Contact Hours, fixed. 

  • Hearing 

    • The P/F field was renamed to Results P/F.

    • The Results P/F, Dr Refer, Follow Up, IMP Code, and Waiver fields were converted to drop-down fields that are populated with codes entered in the COD table. For Texas users, the fields are also populated with fixed codes that correspond to state reporting codes.

Issues Resolved

  • Attendance and Profile Page - The Days Present count was being reduced by the number of Independent Study Complete, Independent Study Incomplete, and In-School Suspension codes from Flex periods rather than the All Day code in a flex school, fixed. 

  • Teacher Attendance - When a secondary teacher takes attendance for a primary teacher, the marked attendance codes were not displaying, fixed. 

  • Civil Rights Data Collection 

    • Retention counts were inaccurate if a retention date fell outside the student's enrollment dates, fixed.

    • The retention count extracted for virtual schools had the potential to be different than the count displayed on the page, fixed.

    • The section total counts were incorrect for virtual schools in some cases, fixed. 

    • System performance when processing the Discipline, Restraint and Alleged Harassment sections was improved. 

Database Changes

  • Civil Rights Data (CVR) - Added the new Reporting School (RS) field.

  • Civil Rights Data Totals (CVT) - Added the new Reporting School (RS) field.
