Aeries Revision Notes 5/5/2022

New Features:

  • Hourly Attendance Report/CDS - The report now supports Flex Scheduling and Class Attendance.

  • Gradebook - Field-level permission was applied to the Quick Contacts from the Scores by Class and Scores by Assignment pages.

  • Query Letters - Letters written in the Russian language displayed extra spaces on the PDF report, fixed. Note: Microsoft's Calibri font, which is part of the Windows default font set, is required for proper Russian language rendering.

  • Admin Update SQL - Databases containing lowercase characters in the 'DST' prefix of the database name now displays on the Admin Update SQL page.

  • Aeries Mobile API

    • The Financial endpoint was added to support the upcoming Student Financials feature in the Aeries Student app.

    • The Get Contacts endpoint now honors field-level permissions. This endpoint is used in the Aeries Mobile Portal, Aeries Student, Aeries Teacher and Aeries EM2 apps.

  • Aeries -  We now have the ability to occasionally conduct short surveys to gather customer feedback. Currently only Admin and User accounts will see the surveys.

California Specific:

  • Import Test Results - The NWEA MAP Assessment Imports now categorize Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry assessments separately from other math assessments which allows for more granular reporting.

  • CALPADS Validations - Student State ID validations now allow the second digit of the ISSID to be number 8

  • UC ELC Extract - For California customers, a previously saved Term 0 was not displayed after the page was refreshed, fixed.

  • Calendar - For Texas customers, the Operational/Instructional Minutes calculation for Flex Scheduling schools did not account for overlapping periods, fixed.

  • Texas State Reporting (ECDS) - In the EducationOrganization interchange:
