The California Department of Education (CDE) is currently convening to discuss how the State plans to adopt the new Perkins V Bill. This will affect how Career Technical Education (CTE) Students will be identified and reported to the State for the 2019 - 2020 school year. There are also pending discussions regarding the data collection of College Credit Courses and Dual Credit Courses as it will pertain to the College and Career Indicators. Until decisions are officially finalized at the State level, Aeries will temporarily cease guidance on how to tag and report CTE students, College Credit Courses, and Dual Credit Courses. These are End of Year Reporting extracts and CDE has recognized the need to clarify these changes with time to allow Districts and Aeries to make appropriate changes.
All Workshops, Conference Sessions, and Webinars for Career Pathway Management in Aeries this academic year was presented under CDE's instruction that these concepts and practices presented would still apply this academic year and any changes would not take place until the 2020 - 2021 year. However, recent discussions in various venues indicate otherwise. Any attendee who participated in the aforementioned Career Pathway Management in Aeries sessions will be contacted once the new guidelines are announced by the State. These Attendees will be invited and comped to attend the updated Webinar session on these topics as soon as it becomes available.
