Due to changes in browser security settings it is now necessary to move Aeries Communications outside an "iframe" from within Aeries to open into a new Browser Tab. This will take users to "SignalKit.com" in their browser, keeping regular Aeries in the original Browser Tab.
Reports that are created in Excel format will now use the XLSX format instead of XLS. This should provide greater compatibility for opening the file in a variety of applications including Google Sheets and resolve a few minor bugs.
Query to Excel
Since the 7/27 update, users would see a "Number stored as text" error in cells containing numeric values, fixed. Also, under rare conditions, some rows were duplicated in the Excel file, fixed.
In cases where the school does not have any course request packets, the academic plan will display the appropriate message and disable the adding courses by course request packet. In addition, if the school does not have the terms set up in their transcript definitions, a message will be displayed and the user will not be able to create an academic plan.
The Fixed Codes system changes from last week had unintended consequences on a few pages, including showing inactive codes, fixed. Also, the changes had caused the Import Test Results page to error on Load, fixed. The fix included the CAASPP Test Results import,
CALPADS Extracts, Direct Certification
The logic to validate the program start date was preventing adding new records to the FRE table, fixed.
Fees and Fines
The Print Fee Letter button was being displayed to parents and students in the portal, fixed. Also, when the Print Fee Letter button was clicked, the dropdown to select the letter to print was only working for Admin users, fixed.
Aeries Mobile API
Users were unable to see teacher name or email address under certain circumstances, fixed.
Students with Perfect Attendance by Teacher report
This report was querying for the term based on today's date instead of the nearest school date and so the report would not run in certain situations, fixed.
The page didn't support Courses with a hyphen or dash in the Course ID, fixed. Also, View MST on this page was displaying an incorrect period range for block periods of more than one, fixed.
Student Profile Page
The Date/Time the parent portal account last logged in was not correct, fixed.
Student Demographic Update Information Report
Contact Mobile Phone Number was always printing as blank, fixed.
The 504 message on students was not always displaying properly, fixed.
