Under certain circumstances students may not be placed in the correct Att % threshold. This could happen when the option to Calculate Attendance History Through Current Day is selected and a student has more than one AHS record per school. For example, if the student was in both a regular attendance program and an Independent Study program in the same school for different parts of the school year. The LCAP Chronic Absent Indicator (Att % Chronic) only processes one AHS record per student per school. Some students may switch between attendance programs within a school year and need to have multiple AHS records analyzed to determine which threshold they fall into.

Is this being addressed by Aeries? We have lots of students who go on short-term independent study and would have two programs during the year.
