I have a CRSE0465 Error message for an Alt Ed class.  I can't code the High-Quality CTE Course code in the Master Schedule due to other Alt Ed classes that are not CTE classes under that Master Schedule.

Every Alternative Ed class associated with the Master Schedule must have the same attributes. These are reflected in the Master Schedule. If you have a student in a course that has a State Course code of 7000 - 8999 and therefore needs the High-Quality CTE course indicator set to "Y" or "N", you will have to create a new Master Schedule record for that attribute.

  • The student's course is removed from the current Master Schedule and added to the new Master Schedule.
  • The Course Attendance (CAR) record needs to be edited to have the student's new section number associated with it.

See the following Aeries Idea for Alt Ed classes that do not rely on the attributes of the Master Schedule.
