Can Teacher type user accounts have access to review District Attendance Letters?
Teacher type user accounts cannot access the Review Letters at the School Level, even if given those permissions. Only a User or Admin type user accounts can view Review Letters.
However, the Portal Group > Teachers security group can be given Read permissions to the Letter Log (LTL) table. This allows teachers to view the Letter Log on an individual student's Attendance under Student Data > Attendance. From there, teachers can open the PDF of the Attendance Letter after they have been sent.
Important: Granting Read permission to LTL enables the user to select the "Exclude from Attendance Letters" checkbox. To prevent this, set field level security to Deny for the STU.DSL field
