“Independent Study Attendance Management” is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage attendance for independent study students using the Aeries system. Participants will learn how to navigate the Aeries platform, utilize attendance, and master schedule codes specifically designed for independent study.
Session Content
In this session, participants will:
Identify the steps for adding and dropping students from independent study using the Aeries system
Recognize the process for entering and updating attendance records for independent study students in the Aeries platform
Summarize the steps to generate monthly attendance summary reports tailored for independent study students
Discuss the unique aspects of managing long-term independent study in a separate school database within the Aeries system
Explain how to utilize the Teacher Portal Attendance by Month feature to analyze attendance trends in independent study schools
Apply the skills learned to effectively track and report attendance for independent study students using the Aeries system
